Vijay’s Thupakki satellite rights
With even before the first look stills of Vijay’s Thupakki would get released there have been tough competitions to bag the satellite rights of the movie.
Recently Vijay TV and Sun TV had a battle to get the satellite rights of Nanban starring Vijay, Ileana, Jeeva, Srikanth, Sathyan, Sathyaraj which is directed by S Shankar.
Finally it is Vijay TV who won the battle and took home the satellite rights of Vijay’s Nanban for a record price.
But, Sources say that this time Sun TV is not going to make any compensation to bag the rights of Thupakki, which has Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in the lead and directed by AR Murugadoss.

There has been tough competition between Vijay TV and Sun TV to bag the satellite rights of the movie.
It is to be remembered that both the TVs had a stiff bidding war to get the satellite rights of "Nanban" and in the end it was vijay TV which emerged as the winner..
'Ilaya Thalapathy' Vijay is all set to start the next schedule of his shoot in Mumbai for the film 'Thuppakki'.
The film's director A R Murugadoss is planning to start the second schedule in Mumbai from tomorrow. As film shootings in Tamil industry are stalled due to the stand-off between the Producers
Council and FEFSI director the director had also cancelled the shooting of his film.
Since the final talks are on today between the warring factions and a solution is expected Murugadoss has planned his shoot in Mumbai. Also, it is said, the director could use the film workers from Bollywood to hold the shoot.
Vijay plays a cop, an encounter specialist in the film. Kajal Agarwal plays the female lead. Vidyut Jamwal, Jai, Jayaram and Sathyan are doing other prominent roles in the film. Harris Jayaraj is scoring the music and Santosh Sivan is handling the camera.

For Vijay, the recent release 'Nanban' is declared a big success. The actor's next is 'Thupakki' that is directed by A R Murugadoss and on its floor now.
"I'm really excited about the film 'Thupakki' and proud to be a part of the film. The script of the film is Thupakki and I'm the bullet in it. The film will have a different Vijay in it. That's how Murugadoss sir has shown me. Definitely a treat for my fans," says Vijay.
'Thupakki' has Kajal Agarwal in the female lead and Harris Jayaraj for music. The film is fast progressing and will be an April release.

Thuppaki has strong crew members with Jayamohan penning the dialogues while Santosh Sivan takes charge of the camera, Harris Jayraj scoring the tunes and produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu.
Ilayathalapathy from the day shooting has commenced was very busy, without taking any breaks and also got many applauses from his directors Shankar and Murugadoss
